The description

The vagus nerve is the primary communication channel between the brain and every major organ system. When vagal tone is strong, digestion, inflammation regulation, mood, and heart rate variability all benefit. When it is suppressed, all of them suffer. Modern life suppresses it systematically. That is not metaphor. It is measurable physiology.

Six modules teach you to read your own nervous system and restore its tone, using breath, sound, temperature, and the Ayurvedic nourishment of the nervous tissue. The work is precise rather than soothing, and it is built to be run daily rather than reached for in a crisis.

You leave able to name your own state within seconds, and with a protocol matched to that state rather than a general instruction to calm down.

How it is delivered

Self-paced. No calls, no calendar, no dates. You begin the evening you enrol and move at your own pace. Everything opens inside The Practice as an interactive experience. Nothing is downloaded. The course opens with a pre-course nervous-system assessment so your baseline is established before Module 1.

What it covers

  • M1 Polyvagal Literacy and Nervous System Reading. The three states, and how to locate yourself in one.
  • M2 Breath as Vagal Tool. Coherence breath, the long exhale, Nadi Shodhana, Ujjayi.
  • M3 Vocal Toning Protocols. Voo, Hum, Aum, and the gargling protocol.
  • M4 Thermal and Physical Vagal Activation. Cold exposure with its safety envelope, and gentle inversion.
  • M5 Gut-Brain Axis and the Body's Safety Signal. The microbiome and vagal signalling.
  • M6 Daily Protocol Design and Integration. Your own protocol, designed on your own physiology.

What it does not cover

  • Trauma therapy. This is nervous-system training and it does not process traumatic material.
  • Digestive protocol at mastery depth. That lives in Agni Mastery.
  • The mental training layer, attention and emotional architecture. That lives in Mental Mastery Training.
  • Personalised protocol design for your individual case. The course teaches the system and gives you the template. You run it on your own physiology.
  • HRV device recommendations or hardware protocols.

What is included

  • 6 recorded modules with recording scripts, slide decks, and student workbooks.
  • Practice cards across the course: vagal tone self-assessment, the polyvagal map, coherence breath at five to six breaths per minute, Nadi Shodhana, Ujjayi, the toning protocol, the gargling protocol, cold exposure, gentle inversion, and the daily vagal protocol.
  • Clinical handouts including polyvagal theory in plain language, the physiology of the long exhale, what HRV actually measures, the microbiome and vagal signalling, and safety and contraindications.
  • Six audio companions: body scan for nervous system reading, guided coherence breath, toning practice sequence, cold exposure preparation, gut-brain settling, and the closing integration.
  • Bonuses: cold exposure safety guide, breath practice calendar, anti-inflammatory shopping list, thirty-day tracking template, sound library reference, and three Q and A documents.
  • The Master Reference and Research Library, annotated across all six modules.
  • A pre-course assessment and a 60-day integration plan.

What is not included

  • Live calls or a cohort. Self-paced is the architecture, not a limitation of it.
  • A refresher rate. Self-paced courses do not carry one.
  • Feedback on your work. The practice is yours to run.
  • Downloads. Everything opens inside The Practice.
  • Trauma therapy or psychiatric care.
  • Any in-person day, workshop, or intensive. None is offered and none is promised.

This is for you if

  • Your mental practices keep hitting a physiological floor. The meditation works for ten minutes and then the system reasserts itself.
  • You are a high-achieving operator running on a sympathetic state and beginning to feel the cost in sleep, digestion, and recovery.
  • You are preparing for, or recovering from, intensive Ayurvedic work. The protocols hold longer when the nervous system underneath them has been trained.
  • Your work in Emotional Evolution or Mental Mastery has begun to feel stuck below the neck.

This is not for you if

  • You are in acute crisis. This is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care.
  • You are managing cardiovascular disease, thyroid disorder, severe trauma, an eating disorder, or an active psychiatric condition. Here the course is a complement under practitioner supervision, never a replacement.
  • You want a calming audio library. This is training, and it asks for daily practice.

Questions before you begin

This course helped me recognise the difference between being genuinely unsafe and being physiologically activated. I became better at regulating myself before difficult conversations and less likely to interpret everything through anxiety. I feel more grounded in my body.
