The description

Time Mastery is the companion practice to the Map and to Your North Star. Where they clarify what matters, this puts what matters into the calendar.

Nine sections walk the calendar audit, the commitment-to-calendar translation mechanic, the architecture of the week in anchors and themes and buffers, the friction audit, energy mapping by chronotype, the four cadences, the Sunday review, the common failure modes, and graduation.

It is grounded in behavioural science rather than productivity culture: implementation intentions, the planning fallacy, identity-based habits, temptation bundling, default effects and friction, and chronotypes. Each is named where it is used.

How it is delivered

Self-paced, inside The Practice, as an interactive experience. No calls, no calendar, no gates. There are no writing fields on screen. The teaching and the practice happen in the experience; the writing happens in your own notebook, by hand, because writing by hand encodes more deeply than typing and the journey says why. Nothing is downloaded.

What it covers

  • The calendar audit, and the seven-day log with running totals.
  • The six commitments, translated one by one into implementation intentions.
  • The architecture of the week: anchors, themes, and buffers.
  • The friction audit. Where the week actually breaks.
  • Energy mapping by chronotype, with the chronotype quiz.
  • The four cadences: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly.
  • The Sunday review, and the ideal week drawn on a fifteen-minute grid.
  • The common failure modes, named before you meet them.
  • Graduation. The declaration, written and dated.

What it does not cover

  • Deciding what matters. That is The Holistic Mastery Journey and Your North Star.
  • Task management software or an app recommendation.
  • Team, delegation, or organisational time systems. This is a personal architecture.
  • Attention training under load. That is Focused Living and Focused Flow Training.

What is included

  • A thirty-day structural practice inside The Practice.
  • The Calendar Audit and Schedule Maker companions.
  • The Seven-Day Log, the Chronotype Quiz, the Ideal Week grid, and the meeting cost calculator, all live inside the practice.
  • Prefill from the Journey: if you have taken it, your six commitments arrive already written.
  • Short educational insight, reflective prompts, and an integration practice at every step.
  • An interactive experience inside The Practice, with no writing fields on screen.
  • A named bridge into the course or pillar that holds this topic at mastery.

What is not included

  • Live teaching, calls, or community.
  • Feedback on what you write. The notebook stays yours.
  • Course-level depth. A journey is a precise instrument for one shift. The bridge tells you where the mastery lives.
  • A physical notebook. You bring your own.
  • Downloads. Everything opens inside The Practice.

This is for you if

  • Your intentions are clear and your weeks do not reflect them.
  • You have finished the Journey or Your North Star and want the commitments to survive contact with a real calendar.
  • You have tried productivity systems and found they describe an ideal week rather than yours.

This is not for you if

  • You want teaching and structure across a whole domain. Take the course this journey bridges into.
  • You want accountability. The journey is unaccompanied by design.
  • You want to read rather than write. This one asks for your hand.

Questions before you begin

I realised that my time problems were mostly boundary problems. Once I became clearer about what mattered, I stopped allowing every request to reorganise my day. I now feel more productive and much less resentful.
